Gahkuen Link - All VFX

Gahkuen Link is a 3D anime hack and slash game and my graduation project. Here are all the VFX I've made for it. The game is playable on Itch: https://tohu71.itch.io/gahkuen-link

One of the big challenges I faced during this project was developing a pipeline entailing motion capture, cleaning the data and retargeting the animation to a different rig. Unfortunately our scope was adjusted so much that we had less original mocap animation than desired. Only Coal's (gunblade wielder) cinematic attack and jump are original mocap animation.
